Overview

What is IELTS?

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s most trusted English proficiency test, accepted by over 11,000 universities, employers and immigration authorities across the globe. Whether your goal is to study, work or settle abroad in countries like Canada, Australia, the UK or New Zealand, a strong IELTS score is your first step.

IELTS comes in two versions — Academic, for higher education and professional registration, and General Training, for migration and work experience. Both assess four core skills: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. You are scored on a 9-band scale, and most universities and visa programs require an overall band of 6.0 to 7.5.

At Ingenious, we don’t just teach the test — we build genuine English ability. With expert trainers, real exam simulations and personal feedback on every skill, our students consistently achieve the bands they need on their first attempt.
